Saint Lucy was an early Christian martyr under Emperor Diocletian. She vowed virginity, gave her dowry to the poor, and—after refusing to offer to Roman gods—was tortured (including having her eyes removed) and killed by sword. In Italy her feast is marked with special foods and gift-giving as an early start to the Christmas season. 🌟🕯️🎄
Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church is holding their monthly Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, December 13th from 4:00 to 7:30 PM.
Bring the whole family and kick off the Christmas season the Italian way!
On the beautiful Feast of Santa Lucia – the saint of light – we’re gathering for an incredible night of spaghetti with meatballs, salad, garlic bread, dessert, coffee, and plenty of joy. Dine in and enjoy holiday music or take the dinner to go.
This is more than just dinner… it’s a heartfelt community celebration that helps support Our Lady of the Springs Parish. Every ticket makes a real difference!
