Entitled the Florida Veteran Overwatch Program, The Fire Watch and its partners - Florida LEADS Zero Suicide Project, PsychArmor Institute, and the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic - will hold in-person training sessions at 6 locations across Florida in 2026. Participants will learn to recognize suicidal behavior, deescalate crisis situations, and direct at-risk Veterans to care and support.Every VCE and CVSO is asked to attend one of the sessions listed below. Except for a session to be held concurrent with the County Veterans Service Officers Association (CVSOA) of Florida conference in May, each is scheduled for a Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
