⏳ Timeline:
Clay is a slow and thoughtful process. After your handbuilt piece is completed, it must fully dry before going into its first kiln firing, which can take approximately 2.5–3 weeks depending on thickness and kiln scheduling. Once the first firing is complete, you will receive a notification that your piece is ready to paint. You may return during open studio hours—no appointment needed—to glaze your piece.
After you paint, your work will go through a final firing, which takes an additional 1.5–2 weeks. Once finished, you’ll be notified again when your piece is ready for pickup.Thank you for your patience—this timeline ensures your finished piece is durable, beautiful, and fully food safe.
Whether you’re looking to learn ceramics or create a one-of-a-kind handmade set, this workshop is a relaxing and rewarding experience.
