Get ready for the ultimate musical celebration: the 2026 Oberlin Choristers Children’s Honor Choir!
Every year, nearly 200 of the brightest 4th–6th grade singers from schools all across Northeast Ohio are hand-picked by their teachers to be part of something truly magical. For months leading up to the big day, these young musicians dive into weekly rehearsals at their own schools – singing together before school, after school, or even during lunch and recess – as their teachers guide them every step of the way so the whole choir sounds absolutely amazing!
Then, on March 28, 2026, the real adventure begins! All the singers converge on the world-famous Oberlin Conservatory for an action-packed day of singing, laughing, making new friends, and—of course—snacks and lunch to keep the energy sky-high.
Under the baton of the incredible guest conductor Lisa
Miragliotta (a choral superstar with degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Bowling Green State University, decades of experience inspiring young voices, and a lifelong passion for making choral music joyful), these kids transform into one massive, goosebump-giving super-choir.
The grand finale? A FREE concert at 3:00 p.m. in the breathtaking Finney Chapel that will leave parents, families, and friends cheering and teary-eyed all at once.
It’s more than an honor choir—it’s a full-on musical party where friendships are forged, confidence soars, and the pure joy of singing takes center stage. If your elementary singer loves to belt it out, this is their chance to shine with the best of the best!
