'The Ballad of Wallis Island',
is a brilliant film which tells the story of the lovely but lonely lottery-winner Charles, living on a wee island, as he dreams of the ultimate reunion: getting his favourite musicians, McGwyer-Mortimer, back together for one last gig.

This sweet and beautifully filmed movie explores friendships, our longing for the past, the music that we share, and the beauty of the places that we are lucky enough to live in.

With a cracking cast including Carey Mulligan, Tim Key, Tom Basden and Sian Clifford, and a script that will keep you laughing, this is a beautiful way to give thanks for the past and welcome in the New Year!

After the film, as the evening nears The Bells, the dancing will get going...
