The Competition:
The Brewha Bushwhack is a team-based adventure challenge where knowledge matters more than speed. It’s all about testing your team’s diverse skills and what you can achieve together. Blaze your own trail and set your own pace. Points, not time, determine success.
The gear requirements are small - You will mostly rely on primitive technology and woodlore. Little more than a knife, para-cord, duct tape, or a fire steel will be needed to complete the challenges. Your most important tool is your brain, and best asset your team.
After the challenge, local breweries will be pouring cold brews while we swap stories, compare scars, and celebrate the adventure at the awards ceremony.

The Festival:
Want to join in the Brewha, but don't want to race? The Festival is just for you!
Join us for a day filled with educational clinics led by bushcraft and survival experts, local businesses, and outdoor brands. Families and kids can also enjoy a variety of fun activities throughout the event!
Explore booths from local businesses, outdoor brands, and event sponsors, where you can check out the latest gear, test products, and even win or purchase some great items.

***If you'd like to camp at Byrd's before or during the event, you can arrange that with Byrd's Adventure Center on the phone or at the event. Camping is not included in Festival registration.***
*Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
*This is a rain-or-shine event!
