Each verse of the song captures a different moment in a young person’s life, and our program mirrors this journey.From our youngest singers discovering the wonder of the world, to our oldest youth reflecting on their dreams and emerging independence, each choir’s repertoire corresponds to the imagery and themes of a specific verse. As the concert unfolds, the audience travels “round and round” through the seasons of growing up, following Mitchell’s metaphorical carousel of time.The result is a full-ensemble narrative concert where repertoire, poetry, and the voices of our singers intertwine to tell a collective story of childhood, change, and hope for all the years still to come.Two Performance Dates:Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:30pmSaturday, May 9, 2026 at 3:00pmDoors Open 30 minutes prior to the performance time.Location: St. John's United Church, 262 Randall St. Oakville ONSeating: Seating will be first come first serve so be sure to arrive on time!Please be sure to bring your tickets to the performance with you, either in the Eventbrite app or a printed copy.If you have any questions please reach out to the OC at info@oakvillechoir.org
