The 18th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights is underway for Friday, December 12th!!

This is your chance to see our Fire Engines, Ambulances and Police cars decorated up in festive lights and entertainment WITH special guest appearances by local businesses, organization or clubs!! We bring our friendly Firefighter and EMT’s out to meet your kids and hand out candy canes! We'll have Mr. & Mrs. Claus, their Elves and just maybe some extra special costumed guests!!
Every year we collect food and toys for our local community! If you have donations you can drop them off at the fire dept beforehand, or along the parade route or during the Festival of Lights at Greenwaters Park. This year our food donations will be donated to WeRSharps Food Pantry.
The Parade starts at 6:00pm on School Street, and travels through a portion of the Willamette City area of Oakridge, then around W. 2nd through the neighborhoods, down to E. 1st until we reach Beech Street. We will end the parade by parking with all the decorated vehicles at the 3rd year’s special event we’ve called “Festival of Light” at Greenwaters Park! At the Festival of Lights, we anticipate to arrive between 7:30pm - 7:45pm. We will be showing A Charlie Brown Christmas movie on the Amphitheater, hosting Santa Claus, Mrs Claus, and special characters like Smokey Bear, Fire Dog and Bigfoot for the kids to interact with AND have Hot Cocoa, Cookies from MANY local bakers with Christmas Carolling and singing on the Amphitheater! Please join us in our second year introducing this still new event that we hope brings some holiday MAGIC that will grow to host a whole new variety of events each year!
