Notable participants will include Kathmandu Books, Tachyon Publications, DreamHaven Books, Liminal Fiction, Rosarium Publishing, Sistah SciFi and other independent booksellers.You will find signed books by the WFC 2026 author and guest attendees throughout the Book Room.SPECIAL EVENT!At 5PM, we'll be hosting anEvent, with authors Jeffrey Ford, Daryl Gregory, and Tamika Thompson. This will be a live panel, with moderator Cliff Winnig; each author will read a selection, followed by Q&A with the audience; booksigning followsCOST: Admission is $5 per person - buy now at Eventbrite, or at the doorLOCATION: The Oakland Convention CenterHOW TO GET HERE: Take BART! The exit at 12th Street is one block from the Convention Center; the convention center also offers parking, and there is street parking behind the building.Proceeds benefit , a nonprofit that creates programs for kids and teens ages 8-19, centering youth imagination, identity, and experience as an integral part of their curriculum and community space.THE WORLD FANTASY CONVENTION is an annual gathering of professionals and fans of fantasy, horror, and science fiction literature, taking place this year in Oakland, CA, at the Oakland Marriott City Center.
