Queer People of Color Circles creates a safe intergenerational space centering Bay Area folx setting intention towards community building, networking, support, education, storytelling and healing utilizing the worldview of Restorative Justice. This weekly space is exclusive to folks of color who identify as LGBTQIA+ and allies of color to allow space for deeper and more nuanced conversation as it applies to our community.
Both as an organization and holders of space, RJOY is unapologetically Africentric and committed to practicing restorative justice in fidelity through an anti-racist, anti-biased lens that pays homage to the indigenous roots of the practice.

Davis to explore the possibility of an Oakland initiative. In 2005, others joined the effort, including Oakland City Councilmember Nancy Nadel and community activist Aeeshah Clottey.
