- **Event Description**: Jorge Alabe will offer a new round of Orixa dance and song classes starting Sunday Nov 2.
This will be the last Orixa dance series of the year, and will include a special focus on preparation for our annual Presente for Oxum planned for Dec 7.
 
This is a 4-class series on Sunday afternoons, in person in Oakland, CA. 
(Also possible to participate remotely through videos of each class.)
People of all levels of experience are welcome.

4-class series on Nov 2, 16, 23, & 30,  3:30-4:45 pm
$100 for the series
Advance registration required (not a drop-in class)
(Be sure to notice the dates; not all classes are on consecutive weeks in this series.)

Jorge Alabe was raised in the Candomble house in Brazil, and brings his lifetime of experience and authority in sharing Orixa dance movement as practiced in this tradition. He teaches the fundamental connections between drum rhythms, songs, and dance movements. With live drum accompaniment.
