It was Mickel’s love of music and passion for helping kids in need that inspired him to create this concert in an effort to help raise financial support and awareness for children who suffer from Sickle Cell Anemia disease, as well as many other life-threatening illnesses, for kids at Oakland’s Children’s Hospital.

Music Medicine features some of the Bay Area’s best talent and is an event that always brings the community together for a night to enjoy great entertainment for a much-needed and worthy cause. All proceeds raised from this event will directly benefit the patients and the Patient Care Fund at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.
