Matcha Tea Workshop

Learn the Way of Tea at Home

Join us for a hands-on matcha experience guided by Momoca, a native Japanese artist who has practiced the Way of Tea for over 15 years. In this intimate workshop, you’ll learn how to prepare matcha using everyday tools, making it approachable and easy to enjoy at home.

Each session includes organic matcha from Shizuoka, Japan, paired with traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi).

We’re also honored to welcome Kori Saika Chen of Matcha Factory, who will be providing ceremonial-grade matcha and sharing its journey from Japan to Oakland.
