She has performed and worked with a wide range of artists in the Bay Area and London, most notably Kassa Overall, Warren Wolf, Neue Grafik, Cosmic Fusion, DJ Starrza opening for Jhené Aiko, Arthur Verocai, Marcus Shelby, Dame Drummer, Falle Nioke, and PHOEBS. A Berkeley High and Peabody Conservatory alum, Laurel studied with Raffi Garabedian, Dann Zinn, Tim Green, Warren Wolf, and Jean Toussaint. She also studied abroad in London, where she began to gain recognition on the international scene, and is now based between the San Francisco Bay Area and London.
