This is your chance to show off your vocals, work the crowd, and win a prize! Also, bragging rights :) YOU CAN STILL COMPETE IN THE SONG CONTEST IF YOU AREN'T SIGNED UP FOR SPRING SEASON!!!There will be availability for 20 people to sign up and compete. Please reserve your spot in advance on Eventbrite, and include your top 2 song choices so we can avoid overlap. If there are still spots available night of, people can sign up in person. Competitors will be asked to bring $5 CASH or Venmo @Karaoakland for the prize pot. The theme is Guilty Pleasures: the songs you pretend you don't love, cheesy ballads, throwback anthems, catchy bops that live rent free in your head. Get creative!The winner will be chosen via ranked choice audience voting. They will get half of the prize pot; the other half will go to our nonprofit partner, East Bay Sanctuary Convenant.Email karaoaklandstaff@gmail.com with any questions.
