Benny Doon is a San Francisco-based DJ and selector who is passionate about musical storytelling. Joining the Bay Area’s ecstatic dance community in 2023, he fell in love with freeform dance as a practice of embodiment and DJ mixing as a medium to find connection with others, relating the inner world outwardly.
Sound / Style:
Benny Doon weaves rhythms from bass, downtempo, breakbeat, 4-on-the-floor, and electronic into cathartic dance journeys. His cross-genre mixes blend certified booty shakers with euphoric goosebump-givers to capture playfulness, release, and emotional resonance.
