Aazav emerges from the fusion of Kai Altair and Haj i Ji’s passion for music that animates both body and soul. Their DJ sets blend original tracks with medicine melodies, bass, Afro and Latin house, and deep dancefloor devotion.
Their debut album, The Looking Stone, called forth a wave of collaborative magic with remixes by David Starfire, Govinda, Kaminanda, Drumspyder, and Living Light—bridging the realms of global bass and ceremonial sound.
The duo travel together and apart, bringing solo and tag team sets to underground dance communities and sacred gatherings alike. As producers, they continue to craft new music focused on activating dancefloors. They also host SYNERGY Ecstatic Dance, with a vibrant community of dancers at Soft Medicine Sanctuary in Sebastopol, California.
