- **Event Description**: Join us at the C4C Action Knockout Karaoke & Fundraising Party to have a blast while supporting a great cause!About this EventC4C Action Knockout Karaoke & Fundraising PartyYou’re invited ?? to our 4th annual end of year fundraising party ??In 2025, C4C Action held over 50 canvasses, knocked on over 18,000 doors, built community and solidarity between housed and unhoused West Oakland residents, secured an unprecedented allocation of $1.4 billion from Alameda County in funding for homelessness solutions, blocked legislation that would criminalize homelessness in Oakland, and got the first Black woman ever elected as Mayor of Oakland running Barbara Lee's field campaign! 2026 will be a huge election year for Oakland, and we need your support to sustain the year-round grassroots neighborhood organizing that's needed to defeat the tech oligarchs, crypto-bros, and corporate developers who are planning to spend big to try and take over our local government. Join us for cocktails (and yummy alcohol-free beverages) and eats at Fluid 510 at 7pm on Wednesday, December 10th, whether you’ve been door knocking with us every week for years, or are just curious about our work - we’d love to see you there!What is "Knockout Karaoke"?In Knockout Karaoke, instead of choosing what song you want to sing, you are challenged to sing a specific song by another member of the audience!For example, "I'll donate $50 to hear my friend John sing "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift!"John can either say yes to the challenge OR can donate $50 to pick his own song to sing.Knockout Karaoke is a lot of fun, and all the proceeds will resource Care 4 Community Action's progressive organizing in 2026, so bring your friends and get ready to do some silly singing for a great cause :)
