The celebration will include a Bantaba African drum and dance performance, griot storytelling, the traditional lighting of the Kwanzaa candles, and a Karamu (community dinner). Guests of all ages will enjoy face-painting, balloon animals, and temporary skin art provided by crowd favorite, East Bay Face Painters!
Come dressed in your finest African attire (not required but encouraged) and be prepared to indulge in delicious and nutritious food preparded by Chef Sonia Porter.
