Canine leptospirosis is a potentially life-threatening disease requiring timely diagnosis and effective management. This seminar will review the pathophysiology, diagnostic approach, and clinical management of leptospirosis, highlighting recent literature updates and strategies to improve patient outcomes.

Diagnosing dogs with hypoadrenocorticism and Cushing’s Syndrome can be challenging. In this presentation, we will review the fundamentals of endocrine physiology.  We will review the clinical signs and clinicopathologic findings seen in both diseases and how to use the ACTH stimulation, low dose dexamethasone and baseline cortisol tests to diagnose patients with these adrenal disorders.

This course will provide a practical overview of infectious diseases that affect the nervous system in patients, with an emphasis on recognition, diagnosis, and management. Attendees will learn how common pathogens impact neurologic function, how to differentiate infectious from non-infectious causes, and when to pursue appropriate diagnostics and treatment.

In-person and virtual programs are pending approval for 6 Small Animal/Interactive continuing education credits by the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine. Credits also good in Wisconsin.
