Join us this Earth Day for an evening of connection, care, and giving back to the land. Together, we’ll slow down, breathe, and spend intentional time in nature, honoring Mother Nature through both presence and action.

📍 Location: Oak Ridge Quarry – Northern Boundary Trailhead, Oak Ridge TN (off Turnpike, past the guard shack)

🕠 Time: 5:30–6:30 PMish

👉 We will meet in the parking lot at 5:30 PM

We’ll begin with a gentle hike around the quarry trail (there and back will be about an hour, mostly easy with a few inclines and potentially muddy spots depending on weather—please wear appropriate shoes). As we walk, we’ll mindfully pick up any trash we find, offering our care back to the land.

When we arrive at the water, we’ll pause for a guided nature meditation—grounding into our bodies, connecting with the Earth, and intentionally sending love and gratitude to the natural world and all nonhuman life around us. We will sit in quiet meditation for about 10 minutes.

✨ What to Bring:
Water bottle
Comfortable hiking clothes & shoes
A bag and gloves for trash pick-up (some extras will be provided)

✨ Kids are welcome, though please note there will be a short period of quiet meditation.

✨ This is a free event, though donations are welcome and directly support East Tennessee Mentorship Association (ETMA)—a heart-centered community space offering accessible mental health, personal development, and wellness support for individuals on their healing journey. 

Led by Kayden, a personal development mentor and passionate nature lover who believes deeply in the healing, grounding power of connecting with the Earth.
