Our crew at the Salty Dog Park has a great opportunity to raise funds and keep building momentum for park improvements — but we need volunteers to make it happen.

Members of the Salty Dog Park have been working hard and we're finally getting attention from the town for improvements. The funds raised through the kindness of Friends of the Parks will directly boost what we can accomplish. Let’s make this the best darn dog park in Brunswick County — something we’re all proud of.

We’re partnering with Oak Island Friends of the Parks for their annual **Salt Water Fishing School**, held at Oak Island United Methodist Church on **March 14th**.

### � Friday, March 13 (Afternoon Prep)

Help with:

* Stuffing attendee bags
* Setting up tables & chairs
* General preparation for Saturday’s class

### � Saturday, March 14 (7AM–5PM Class Day)

We **are being asked to have at least 3 volunteers present all day** during the class. Coverage from start to finish is important.

Volunteer duties include:

* Preparing and restocking snacks
* Signing in attendees (friendly faces welcome!)
* Keeping the classroom neat and organized
* Helping serve lunch when Publix delivers
* Breaking down tables and cleaning up at the end of the day

Past attendees say it’s an excellent class packed with information about saltwater fishing in and around Oak Island. As a volunteer, you’ll get that knowledge for free while helping raise funds for our park. We all know anything we do is a good time filled with camaraderie & laugh.

We need:
� Strong guys or gals for set-up and tear-down
� People who enjoy schmoozing, chatting, and welcoming attendees

**If you regularly enjoy the park but haven’t yet been part of one of our gatherings or fundraising efforts, this is a great time to jump in. Spend a few hours with your fellow dog lovers and help move the park forward.**
