This event will be located at Cedar Creek Conservation Area at 18510 Lake George Blvd NW, Oak Grove, MN 55303.The program is free but registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. This event will involve walking about 1.5 miles along dirt and sand trails and through native prairie habitat. Volunteer work will also involve bending to collect seed. If you anticipate needing any accommodations in order to volunteer or have any questions, please contact Lauren Schmelzer by email at lauren.schmelzer@anokaswcd.org or call 763-434-2030 x220.In case of bad weather, this event may be postponed. All registered volunteers will be informed in advance and an alternative date and time will be provided through email.ParkingWe will meet at the Cedar Creek Conservation Area parking lot and than carpool to the prairie for seed collecction.The parking lot is located at 18510 Lake George Blvd NW, Oak Grove, MN 55303What to BringPlease bring a water bottle, sun protection, insect repellent, and gardening gloves. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended.
