NETFLIX Screening @ 5p: Forever, Episode 5: The Vineyard

If you were on the Island last summer, you might remember seeing camera crews. They were filming this very episode, and some of you might even be in it! Now is your chance to see it on the big screen. Watch the first four episodes at home, on Netflix, then join us to watch episode 5, featuring our beloved Island.



Judy Blume’s beloved young-adult novel Forever has been reimagined for a new generation, centering around two Black, Los Angeles teenagers who experience love and intimacy for the first time. The idea of “forever” is not always guaranteed, as their relationship is affected by parental pressures and the growing pains of adolescence. This is a screening of the fifth episode, in which Keisha and her best friend, Chloe, spend part of the summer on Martha’s Vineyard—and on a mission.
