Formé en 2020, Licking Rainbows est un projet de rock énergique, mêlant riffs puissants et harmonies vocales planantes. Après deux EPs ("burp" et "Rainbows Avenue"), le groupe a su affiner son identité musicale, mélangeant garage rock et rock psychédélique, tout en évoluant vers des sonorités plus ambitieuses.

Leur énergie sur scène, alimentée par une forte complicité, leur a permis de se faire connaître à travers de nombreux concerts et festivals en Suisse, en France et au Luxembourg. Au travers de plus d’une soixantaine de dates à leur actif entre 2021 et 2025 (Montreux Jazz Festival, Rock'R'Sauvage, Rock Am Wind, Amalgame, Gaswerk, Le Romandie, et plus encore), Licking Rainbows ont partagé la scène avec des groupes reconnus, tels que Dirty Sound Magnet, Mother’s Cake, Feldup, Lalalar, pour n’en citer que quelques-uns.

Après s’être affirmé dans le paysage culturel suisse romand, le groupe signe en 2025 chez le label Foggy Notion et commence à s'exporter avec son nouvel album "Smile".
