Your Activity

Start your day in Padangbai, a coastal town in Karangasem known for its port and its vibrant underwater world. Here, you’ll meet the communities working to protect and restore the coral reefs. After a short briefing, you’ll head out to the pontoon to help make a reef star, an important structure used in coral restoration. You’ll then dive or snorkel to see the conservation site and witness Bali’s marine life up close.

Back on shore, unwind over coffee or fresh juice at the Wholesome Hub. Learn about their conservation journey, the challenges of protecting marine ecosystems, and how local communities are working together to safeguard Bali’s reefs for future generations.

Traditional Salt Farm Visit in Kusamba

In the afternoon, travel west to Kusamba, a seaside village where salt-making has been passed down for generations. Here, you’ll meet Pak Warta, one of the few remaining artisans preserving this traditional craft. He’ll guide you through the process of harvesting salt from seawater, dried over black volcanic sand and collected by hand to produce pure, natural salt.
