Join Verónica Bellón, Elizabeth Johnson, and Luc Vanier for a retreat hosted at the picturesque four-star Perdepera Resort in Marina di Cardedu, Ogliastra on the eastern coastline of Sardinia (https://www.perdeperaresort.it/en/). We invite you to this beautiful setting to experience a range of embodied practices and activities, all guided by the principles of the Alexander Technique (AT).

Enjoy morning yoga and meditation, explore swimming techniques with the Shaw Method, and learn developmental movement concepts you can apply as you walk on nearby trails and beautiful beaches. Expect good company and food, gorgeous views of the ocean, and a quiet focus on bringing joyful presence to your everyday movement with teachers who have vast experience in embodied mindfulness and its application to daily living. This retreat is for anyone interested in applying conscious awareness to movement, recognizing habits that support (or interfere with) connection and wellness, and allowing the moment-to-moment grace that is possible when we slow down to balance activity and rest.

The price includes lodging and meals (and wine!) and the schedule includes dedicated time for yoga, meditation, swimming, walking, instruction, developmental movement explorations (Dart Procedures and the Framework for Integration), and rest. In the evenings, we’ll commune together to discuss and share discoveries about how we are experiencing the applied AT principles in the retreat activities. All attendees will receive one private Alexander Technique lesson.
