Renowned storyteller Perry Ground (Onondaga, Turtle Clan) returns once again to the Keshequa Valley to share his Talking Turtle Stories with visitors of all ages. These stories highlight the beliefs, customs, and rich history of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) people.
Perry brings these traditional tales to life with vivid descriptions, a rhythmic voice, and high-energy stage presence. His storytelling is interactive—he often includes audience members in the performance—making the experience both engaging and memorable.
This 45-minute presentation is filled with laughter, culture, and important lessons, offering a wonderful mix of entertainment and education for both children and adults.
This program is FREE and open to the public. It will be held in the NHS Pavilion or the air-conditioned meeting room, depending on weather. No registration is needed for this storytelling session.
This program follows Perry’s morning workshop: “Lacrosse – The Creator’s Game.” (Pre-registration required for the morning program only.) For more information, visit www.nundahistory.org or call 585-465-0971
