The Mitcham Football Netball Club proudly invites all players, supporters, past and present members, sponsors and friends of the club to join us in celebrating an extraordinary milestone for one of our great Tigers.

Neil Winterton, our highly successful Senior Men’s Head Coach, will officially coach his 200th senior game for the Tigers against the Norwood Football Club in Round 12 on Saturday 4th July — a remarkable achievement that reflects over a decade of dedication, leadership and success.

“Winno” has become the club’s longest-serving senior coach and one of the most respected figures in Mitcham Football Club history. Since taking charge, he has built a culture based on loyalty, hard work, passion and team-first values, helping shape countless players and creating lifelong memories for the Tiger faithful.

His legacy is already firmly cemented, leading Mitcham to four senior premierships in 2015, 2019, 2023 and 2024 — an incredible era of sustained success that has helped define one of the most successful periods in club history.

More than just the wins and premierships, Neil’s impact on the Mitcham Football Netball Club can be seen in the strength of the playing group, the connection across the club and the standards that continue to drive the Tigers forward.

After enjoying a drink with the “Noseman” after the game, please join us back at Walker Park as we celebrate an incredible servant of the club and a true Mitcham legend.
