Anyone is welcome to join, including families with young children, small groups, those with no birding experience, and seasoned birders.We will meet at 9 AM at the main parking lot at South Hamilton Park, Novato, CA (look for a parking area with a large solar panel roof, next to a large grass field). We’ll then walk at a relaxed pace along the Bay Trail until 11 AM looking and listening for as many species of birds as we can find, along with other wildlife and special wetland plants. Some of the birds we might see include spectacular flocks of sandpipers, herons and egrets, migratory ducks, American Avocets, and Black-necked Stilts.Spotting scopes, bird books, and brochures will be provided.
