Dave Abear's A Very Jerry Band is a Denver-based musical collective that pays heartfelt tribute to the music of the Jerry Garcia Band (JGB).
The band is led by Dave Abear, who serves as the lead guitarist and vocalist. Abear previously performed with Melvin Seals and JGB from 2011 to 2016. The band is known for its focus on authentic vocal harmonies, a key aspect of the JGB sound. They aim to capture the essence of Jerry Garcia's music through melodic guitar work, soulful vocals, and harmonies, providing an immersive experience for listeners


A Very Jerry Band's mission is to celebrate the music of the Jerry Garcia Band across its different periods. They strive to keep the spirit of Jerry's music alive through their performances.
