The route takes us past Hucknall and into Newstead for a well-deserved cafe stop and to admire the medieval abbey and grounds in all it's glory! Once rested and refreshed, we'll head back to the city along some repeating and also new cycle paths.Our monthly long ride is for the more improver cyclist as the distance is longer and the terrain a tad more challenging. Please also note that this ride does not include access to the Abbey or gardens, just the cafe and the outside area in front of the big house.We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!MEETING POINT: Outside the Forest Rec Pavilion (cafe).
