Headline Act Annie Knox:
Annie Knox is a self-taught poet who has been writing poetry for as long as she can remember. She is also an extremely passionate activist. Combining both poetry and activism, issues that are close to Annie’s heart are social injustices, such as; racism, women’s rights, homelessness, poverty/suffering and the environment/Planet Earth. The list continues! Annie first started reading with Poets Against Racism after writing “Did You Know?” – which is about the murder of George Floyd. She has also written a vast amount of poetry to raise money for Palestine with Writers’ For Palestine. Annie feels she could be doing so much more to help make the world a better place for everyone to live. Through her writing she channels the rage she feels about so many aspects of the world. Her writing is also her way of standing for what is right. In the words of Deborah Anne Dyer (Skin – Skunk Anansie) – “I screamed until the Ink came… You made me carry on through rage… I’ll fight until I fall”. 

Feature Act Eden Dickens:
I'm a poet from Bourne using my love of poetry to explore my gender since coming out earlier this year. I've always used poetry to funnel my anger and frustration at the injustices of the world and as a form of therapy when times are hard.
