About The Host:
  These days people are looking for alternative social nights out and The Social Canvas provides all the elements for this combining an informal friendly location (usually a pub or restaurant) with opportunities to unleash your creative side as well as meeting new people along the way - glass of wine (or your chosen drink) in one hand and a paintbrush in the other!    Our painting events are not stuffy formal fine art classes, but alternative fun art social experiences, allowing people to try something new and release their creative energy in a friendly fun environment. We also add some great music to add to the atmosphere so have great playlists at the ready. Beware of spontaneous sing-a-longs and dance breaks! We use some originally designed pieces of artwork from our artists as well as some iconic or themed paintings for our events where our artists give step by step instruction for all. We do however encourage people to be free and brave and change up the painting using colours they wish, with or without help from our artists.    We provide everything required so all you have to do is bring yourself, your imagination and relax! Items supplied for the event are: tabletop easel, canvas, acrylic paints, paintbrushes, aprons etc. and of course you get to take your completed canvas home. Our venues are chosen carefully with space and lighting in mind - we also make sure they provide refreshments for purchase on the evening. Our events usually begin at 7pm and finish
