Oracle cards are sets of often beautifully illustrated/photographed pictures or images with key words or phrases on them. Tarot cards are a more standardised set of cards comprising 22 major arcana cards representing archetypal energies or themes and 56 minor arcana cards in 4 suits, not dissimilar to a playing card deck, but usually with more illustration and meaning. When we connect with our higher self, we can use the energy of the cards to tap into our deep inner wisdom. For this reason, they are often used for:
- Reflection on life in the moment
- Looking into what may be arising in the future
- Offering divine inspiration for a particular day or period of time
- Spiritual development and connection
Less often, bust ABSOULTELY POSSIBLE, they can be used for MANIFESTING OUR GOALS, DREAMS & VISIONS, setting intentions & awakening the powerful co-creative forces within you to take charge of your life and your future.
Since this class runs close to the January New Moon, it is the perfect time to reflect (the dark moon part of the lunar cycle of turning inwards to reflect) and make a start of manifesting the year or goal of your dreams (ideally timed at new moon when a new lunar cycle commences and the light of the moon is beginning to return).
If reading this is stirring interest or some magic within you, then this may be the workshop for you. So, if you are someone who would like guidance in intuitively reading your oracle or Tarot cards to provide insight or a focal point into the life you are living now, and/or if you are ready to use or develop your skills of manifestation using oracle cards, I will be delighted to help you & support you to set your intentions to move into the 2026 you dream of.
New Year is a fabulous time to turn inwards and take stock of where you're at and what's lead you to this point, and also become proactive in writing your destiny or creating change and transformation for the year ahead.
We begin our evening workshop with a spiritual opening up and self-connection meditation practice, and some information and pointers on using and reading oracle and Tarot cards. We then intuitively select a card or 2/3 to orientate ourselves as to what we need to focus on in life at the moment. You will be supported and empowered to do the reading intuitively yourself with some guidance. You may really surprise yourself at how much you can already ascertain intuitively once you are open and connected!
And then, once we are ready, we will consciously select 1-3 cards from our oracle card deck to use for a powerful intention setting & manifestation practice.
You will have time to ask questions, journal and reflect on your reading, and consider anything that arises from your reading, including any actions you feel you need to take from now.
The evening will be interactive and sociable as well as spiritual and empowering.
Cards can be borrowed (& purchased if you wish) or you may choose to bring your own oracle deck.
