Light Night at Sneinton Market
Light Night is returning to Sneinton Market this year. After a very successful evening last year, we thought it would be great if we did it again! There'll be lots to do and plenty to see. This night is sure to brighten up the winter blues.
Sneinton Market Avenues will come alive on Friday February 8 with Live Music, Light Projections, Street Food, a Fully Licensed Bar, a Light Night Parade, a Silent Disco and much more!
And as darkness falls, The Avenues and Plaza will be glowing with vibrant lighting and artistic projections. An illuminated parade around The Avenues and Sneinton Market, will bring a pulsating carnival atmosphere.... glowing lanterns, puppets, flamboyant costumes and carnival dancers.
During the evening, you can expect a DJ and live music performances, provided by I'm Not From London, and surrealist light projections by Maximillion. There will be plenty on hand to keep you fed and watered too, with a range of Street Food specialities and a fully licensed bar serving craft beer, wine and hot drinks.
Wildlife Trust will be illuminating their building, running a silent disco and you can shine in the dark with their UV face painting and black lights.
Curious? will be showcasing their work with EMCAAN, ABC Dance School, City Arts and Youth Group Development in a spectacular illuminated parade around Sneinton Market.
Lots of the Sneinton Market units will be open on the night, including:
