The Cemetery was opened in 1856 and designed by Edwin Patchitt.Hear about the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and stories of some of the men and women that are commemorated in this cemetery, including a professional footballer, nurse and a victim of the Nottingham Blitz in the Great War.The tour lasts approx. 60 mins and covers about 500 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground and slopes.Parking is available on-site and nearby. There are no facilities or toilets on site. Please bring water if required.Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather.
