A Christmas Ghost Story & Lecture at The Peoples' Hall

Welcome to A Christmas Ghost Story & Lecture at The Peoples' Hall! Join us for a spine-tingling evening filled with eerie tales and fascinating insights. Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with a unique twist as we explore the supernatural side of Christmas.

From ghost hunting to sleigh riding on vintage children’s television. Expect a Box of Delights and fireside literature, guided by Matthew, Blue & the Spirit of Christmas Past. The lecture is part talk / part ramble, charting how we’ve all been wonderfully indoctrinated into spooky Christmases from screens and books gone by.

We will then be treated to the best of the season: a Christmas Ghost Story recited by special guest Paul Paschal.

This in-person event will take place at The People's Hall, an important historic venue that is usually closed to the public and is the perfect site for a night of wonder and intrigue. Get ready for a memorable experience that will leave you both entertained and enlightened. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind event!

This event is part of The Winter Showroom at the People's Hall.

The venue is atmospheric but frozen in time. There is no integral heating or toilet facilities so please dress up warm. We will have use of a neighbours toilets.
