The event includes camping at the park campground or on the ballfield below the Eagle Lake Observatory (tents only). You will need to register for the event which includes a daily fee ($12 in 2025) and you will receive an event packet and door prize tickets. For example, in 2025, the party begins on Friday at 7:00 pm and continues past midnight with expert speakers throughout the weekend. Saturday the observatory opens at 1:00 pm. Guided tour of the night sky using a laser light at 9;30 pm. Sunday 8:00 am breakfast and solar viewing from the observatory. The park itself has a swimming beach, a free 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, paved bike trail, presumably kayaking.One reviewer complained about their campsite flooding, so I am going to try to get a site 6-11 away from water. RESERVE ON JULY 17, 2025!!!!!
