Winter pruning + tool sharpening workshop

This is a chance to learn more about pruning. We will start off with a secateur cleaning and sharpening demonstration.

Feel free to bring your own secateurs to clean and sharpen. We will also have secateurs and gloves to lend out.

We will then prune apple, quince and other appropriate trees and shrubs in the community garden. There will be guidance and instruction from our resident experts.

We will provide hot drinks and biscuits.

There will also be an opportunity to take part in other gardening tasks in the garden. Bring your own lunch and make a day of it.
