Welcome! This session is aimed to support women and birthing people following pregnancy and birth. This session is led by our pelvic health therapy assistant practitioners who work within the pelvic health physiotherapy team at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. In this session they aim to share with you information and self-help advice to support you on your road to recovery after pregnancy.
During the session there will be chairs but you are welcome to bring blankets for baby and sit on the floor. The session lead will present information on pelvic health and after pregnancy recovery, and encourage comfortable conversation around these topics in a safe environment. They will use slides to show text, images and videos to provide you with advice and resources, and demonstrate exercises to you. There will be a comfort break halfway through. The session will aim to last 90-120 minutes (depending on questions and engagement).
There will likely be other women and birthing people attending this session, if you feel comfortable to ask questions please do. Otherwise you are welcome to just listen.
As this is not a 1:1 advice session please do not share personal or private information that you do not wish to be in the public domain.
