Merch will be available to buy to support the release of "Šig", MARLA's third EP in their post-rock collection.

Joining the evening are ethereal experimental electronic duo .astriDrift, and the synth-pop magic of Animals in the Form of Spheres. It promises to be a night of weird noises you didn't think could come from electronic cables. We hope that appeals to you, as it most certainly does to us.

                "description": "Initially formed out of heartache, MARLA have reinvented the way they sound in relation to growing though their late teens and early twenties in order to become what they are today.\nBased in Norwich and London, MARLA refuse to be constrained by the limitations of their respective instruments, and are always learning new ways to use and improve them.\nMARLA have recently started working alongside Off With Their Records, and are in the process of mixing new music recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. One of these tracks is entitled Ashes to Context, and became MARLA’s debut single release on January 1st 2018.\n\nIf the band are asked to describe their sound, they give looks to each other with amusement shining from their eyes, as it is a well-documented joke that they never like to describe themselves using genre terms. However, it’s important to be able to hit the nail on the head as soon as possible when you’re working in the music industry, so let’s say noise/art rock with influences of garage rock and electronic indie. See?\nPicture Jack White collaborating with Radiohead, and you’ll be getting close.\n\nMARLA now have several gigs at established venues under the belt - such as The Norwich Art Centre (NME’s Britain’s Best Small Venue 2014), mainstage at Norwich Waterfront, and The Garage in Highbury - all on their CV.\nWith two successful EP releases in January 2015, and February 2016, MARLA plan on being in your ears and on your mind before you know it...\n"
