In the weeks surrounding World Car-Free Day, hundreds of towns and cities internationally will be hosting Critical Mass, Kidical Mass and Play Streets - join the fun in Norwich!
*Critical Mass Norwich* is a coming together of cyclists of all ages and stripes to reclaim the streets in safety and have fun in the process. Everyone is welcome on this spontaneous-route cycle through the city.
*Kidical Mass Norwich* is a family-friendly ride showing that we want to cycle - we need safe spaces to do so. It's a free, fun cycle round the city centre, where kids can enjoy cycling as a group and improve their confidence on the road in a safe environment - at the same time demonstrating the need for safe, segregated, joined-up cycle paths so that everyone can move safely around our city.
We ask that children are accompanied and that you're self-sufficient and responsible for any children you bring along. However, we'll ride as a group and there will be adults to lead the ride and help navigate any traffic. Route will be published here in the weeks before the ride.
We welcome kids of any age (0-100), on any type of cycle - bike seats, bikes with stabilisers, trailers, trikes, cargos, tagalongs, bmx, balance bikes, unicycles...
