At this dance we will also be holding a food drive for the Listen Food Shelf! Please bring a non-perishable item to donate. Cash/venmo donations will also be accepted. Visit listencs.org for info about most-needed items.

All dances are taught, and beginners and singles are always welcome. We offer pot-luck snacks at the break, so please feel free to bring something to share. Our caller will offer a introductory / refresher session at 7:15 pm for newcomers or those who want to review the basics. Please bring clean non-marking shoes to help protect our dance floor!

An active dance and concert band since 2008, The Turning Stile brings audiences on emotional journeys through traditional tune sets, contemporary New England compositions, and original creations with Celtic, Canadian, and Appalachian roots. Based in Montpelier, Vermont, The Turning Stile features fiddler and dancer Joanne Garton and multi-instrumentalist and dancer Aaron Marcus.

Luke Donforth is a contra caller and choreographer based in Burlington, VT. He brings a warmth to the mic and focuses on facilitating everyone in the hall joyously moving to the music. He's a founding member of the Mad Robin Callers Collective, and calls everything from family dances to festivals. Luke is a prolific writer of dances, and you can expect new and classic compositions to keep your feet flying.
