- **Event Description**: Join us for a traditional New England contra dance at Tracy Hall in Norwich with calling from our very own Kevin Donohue, and music by Missing Lynx. 

All dances are taught, and beginners and singles are always welcome. We offer pot-luck snacks at the break, so please feel free to bring something to share. Our caller will offer a introductory / refresher session at 7:15 pm for newcomers or those who want to review the basics. Please bring clean non-marking shoes to help protect our dance floor!

Kevin Donohue is known to us all as the enthusiastic organizing force behind the Norwich contra dance series, and we're excited to welcome him to the stage to share his talents as a caller. He has called many a dance for Dartmouth students on campus and at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, as well as community events in schools, camps, and dance halls throughout the Upper Valley and beyond.

Missing Lynx unites Oliver, Scanlon, a soulful fiddler, mandolinist and spellbinding tunesmith, with Alex Fortier, a rocking keys man covering an amazing breadth of styles in depth. Together, they rock the dance hall.  Both have been studying American music since they were small and have attracted the mentorship of great figures in traditional music and dance.
