🦃Thanksgiving is a time for family, food and gratitude. As the Holiday approaches, we are aware of many families in the community who are food insecure and who would appreciate your blessings. Let's come together as a community to ensure these families enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving meal.
❓How? By filling a 🧺 #BlessingBasket or 2!
Maybe with your family, your neighbors, your co-workers, you could unite to fulfill the list provided to bring a "Happy Thanksgiving" to our communities - 🧺HOW MANY CAN YOU COMMIT TO?
🧺Here is the list of items to fill a #BlessingBasket:
✅Laundry basket to hold the goodies (no bags)
✅$20/$25 Gift Card to a local grocery store. The recipient of your basket will use the gift card to buy their turkey or ham
✅Cans of corn, green beans and cranberry sauce
✅Boxes of stuffing and boxes of mashed potatoes
✅Jar/packet of gravy & cream of mushroom soup
✅Box of muffin/biscuit mix
✅Nonperishable dessert of your choosing
🌟Extras if you are inclined - additional food, mittens, socks, toiletries, games, laundry detergent, etc.
You are welcome to decorate the baskets and add items to decorate a table too.
The Parker Walsh Team and the guidance counselors in local schools, will gift all the baskets to families throughout the school district who are in need.
📅We will host this "Heartwarming Happy Hour" DROP OFF on Wednesday, November 19th from ⌚4:30pm until 7:00pm at NINA's.
