Join us every Wednesday for a friendly evening of Swing and Balboa dancing in the heart of Norwich.

Our 7pm class introduces the foundations of Lindy Hop, one of the most popular swing dances. We'll help you build confidence on the dance floor, connect with the music, and feel comfortable dancing with different people from the very start. Along the way you'll learn the lead and follow skills that make social dancing such a joy.

At 8pm we move into Balboa and Bal-Swing – a smooth, close-embrace swing dance that comes into its own when the music gets faster. It's a great addition to your swing dancing toolkit and works beautifully on busy dance floors.

Each class starts with a familiar warm-up before we explore new ideas, figures and techniques. We focus on connection, musicality and having fun, as well as throwing in the occasional solo jazz move for anyone who fancies expanding their dance vocabulary.

Partner rotation is encouraged, but never compulsory. Many people come on their own, and our friendly group will help you feel at home whether it's your first week or your fiftieth.

After the classes, we finish with social practice time where you can dance, ask questions and try things out in a relaxed atmosphere.

• 9:00pm–9:30pm – Social Practice

£7 per class or £10 for the whole evening.

Cash or card on the door.
