Our Winter Recital, Scrooge… All Jazzed Up!, is quickly becoming a cherished tradition in our community, a magical way to kick off the holiday season with heart, excitement, and a whole lot of sparkle.
This beautiful showcase brings together dancers and gymnasts of all ages and skill levels, blending all genres of dance and gymnastics into a reimagined, high-energy retelling of a timeless classic.
At the center of our performance is the beloved story of Ebenezer Scrooge — a tale of transformation and redemption. Scrooge, a cold-hearted and miserly businessman, receives a life-changing visit from the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of the cost of a life lived without kindness. Guided by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, Scrooge journeys through powerful moments that open his eyes to the true meaning of generosity, compassion, and community.
Through dynamic choreography, expressive storytelling, and dazzling athleticism, our dancers bring this classic tale to life in a fresh, vibrant, and joy-filled way. From jazz and contemporary to hip hop, tap, and tumbling — every style adds its own magic to the journey.
