Curious little learners will discover the fascinating world of cats, from their adorable paws to the important role they play on the farm. Along the way, we’ll share the charming story of the beloved Rose Farm cats + why they’re such an important part of daily life here. We’re thrilled to welcome our friends from the Animal Rescue League, who will introduce us to one of their very special feline friends, perfect for learning, observing, and maybe even a gentle hello. To round out the morning, the West Des Moines Library will join us for a cozy, cat-themed story time. It’s the purr-fect way to start the season, sweet, educational, and full of furry charm. Sessions will begin on the hour at 9, 10 + 11 AM. Tickets will be available on Monday, June 1st at 8 AM on our Rose Farm website. 

New! A reservation is required. Rose Farm will release tickets every Monday at 8 AM for the upcoming Friday Farm School. There is no fee to attend + tickets are complimentary to every child. Our lessons + stories are geared toward school-aged children. However, we welcome guests of all ages as there are sensory experiences beneficial to even the youngest guest.
