Jen Durkin & The Business

JEN “PIPES” DURKIN - Fairfield based Vocalist got her start attending Berklee College of Music and then moving to New York City, where she studied a broad range of musical styles,from gospel, jazz, blues and funk.

Jen’s high profile east coast funk band DEEP BANANA BLACKOUT has played many Festivals around the country and were a hometown favorite at every Gathering of the Vibes.
The past 25 years Jen has been collaborating and sharing the stage with her idols and respected colleagues Bernie Worrell, George porter Jr., Grateful Dead drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, to name a few.

A highlight was a unique opportunity performing on live TV with The Bomb Squad,winning an American Music Award in 2003.

Jen will bring her funk fusion ensemble comprised of members of her current band "The Business" featuring Rich Zurkowski (Bass), Darian Cunning (Guitar), Kris Studebaker (Drums), and Johnny Durkin (Percussion) with surprise special guests.
